An exploration of the beauty of quiet everyday situations, this motif presents an understated approach to form and subject – soft strokes of paint in blue, white and brown bring together the composition, whose center is a relaxed character in soft, billowing clothing.
A sense of calm is created within an art print that contains the expressive and tactile qualities of paint on canvas.
Sacrée Frangine are two illustrators and art directors, Célia Amroune and Aline Kpade, friends since primary school, based between Paris and South France.
They explore shapes and colour palettes to create simplified narratives and compostions. Their work expresses the beauty fo everyday things through a minimalist and pleasing aesthetic.
Based in Copenhagen, Paper Collective brings together designers, artists and illustrators to create limited editions of iconic and inspirational prints, becoming a leading brand in the execution of artistic prints.
