An archetype table, 25 takes its name from the minimum thickness of the top and leg, precisely 25 mm.
The absolute essence of the avant-garde, 25 won the 2014 Compasso d'Oro design award for "the feeling of amazement this table evokes when comparing its slenderness to the considerable lengths it can achieve”.
The Italian design studio Metrica based in Milan have earned an international reputation for the unique approach to contemporary furniture design. A young spirit capable of combining iconic seating and complements, like graphic signs sketched in the air, with tables as adaptable as everyday life is. But also a story which began in 1990 when the four Orsenigo brothers – the heirs of a metalworking family company – envisaged a firm that would be more in step with the times and, from the very beginning, called on the cooperation of established or up-and- coming designers.
