Tom Dixon Exhibition
Conceived by Area, this exhibition displayed the latest creations and developments by the innovative English designer at the Amoreiras shop in Lisbon. At the opening, on 26th September 2023, visitors had the opportunity to see Tom at work who, in a return to his origins as an "object maker", built a prototype of a chair in 3mm steel rod with his own hands using oxy-acetylene welding, inspired by the design principles of his iconic Pylon Chair. The prototype was integrated into the exhibition and could be appreciated by clients and visitors until its closing.
