A slender, graceful silhouette in three heights, Jazz is an elegant addition to the home – by itself or in groups.

A Jazz candleholder comes with a top, a base and three interchangeable stems in different heights to fit any occasion.

Danish architect, ceramist and jazz musician Max Brüel (1927-1995) was a versatile artistic talent born out of a highly creative family.

He won his first architecture competition while still enrolled in the Royal Academy of Art in the 1940s all the while embarking on a career as a jazz musician, which won him international recognition in the 1950s.

Karakter is a Danish design company founded on a spirit of exploration and an uncompromising attitude towards quality.

Rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition with an international outlook, Karakter presents a portfolio of furniture, lighting and objects that is relevant, honest, expressive and sometimes playful.
