Vase made by 3 elements, hand-turned with some parts realised using the casting technique in white clay. 2 elements have engravings on the surface. Glossy black, green and ocher enamel. All Bitossi ceramics are completely handmade by its craftsmen.
Fanny Bauer Grug and David Lopez, founders of the Quincoces-Dragò studio, designed this collection for Bitossi in 2019. The shapes mimic overlapping column elements inspired by the great classics: staggered cylinders of different sizes and diameters, sometimes left with a smooth surface or striped with vertical or horizontal lines.
Bitossi Ceramiche, founded at the beginning of the 20th century, remains at its original location in Montelupo Fiorentino, near Florence. Starting by producing typical local handmade objects, this traditional production has been modernised thanks to the artistic direction of Aldo Londi, a man attentive to the evolution of taste and with an innate creative and aesthetic sense. Today is a favorite destination for leading names in the design world, fascinated by the company's historic value and the possibility of creating exclusive collections by the hands of its artisans.
