Glazed ceramic vase with hand-painted details from Dittmar Urbach, a company resulting from the merger of Rudolf Dittmar Erben (founded in 1879 as Dittmar Brothers) and Brothers Urbach, founded in 1882 in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia. In 1919, the state of Czechoslovakia confiscated the factory, and during the Nazi occupation, the factory became property of the Austrian state. In 1945, when World War II ended, it was nationalized again by Czechoslovakia.
