After Midnight is a sculptural vase shaped like an owl. For Francesco Risso, nature remains a constant source of inspiration, but this time, he has opted for a more eccentric aesthetic. While designing, Risso was influenced by various Italian artists from the early 20th century, particularly the late Leoncillo Leonardi. This artist is known for his colorful earthenware sculptures with rough textures. Leonardi drew inspiration from Fauvism, an art movement characterized by bold colors and wild forms.

After Midnight is whimsical, eccentric, and colorful. For this hand-painted vase, Risso selected a very specific color palette, including watery gray, sunset orange, boreal green, down-purple, and sky blue. These colors add depth and character. The vase is available in two sizes and can undoubtedly be called a conversation piece. Its irregular shape reflects the playfulness Marni is famous for.

Founded in 1994, Marni is recognized as the most artistic, colour-savvy, life embracing, off-beat brand in the luxury segment. Renowned for its subversive collections, Marni has consistently challenged the traditional codes of fashion and the seriousness of dressing up, celebrating individuality through its distinctive approach to materials and colours, combined with a unique taste for prints and shapes.

Marni’s quirky elegance is a range of possibilities, a lifestyle with an avant-garde spirit that holds a constant dialogue with the world of art, finding ultimate expression in special collaborations and capsule collections.
