Herring - little wriggling blue fish from the Baltic Sea – have claimed the starring role in this exclusive Fish & Fish tableware collection, designed by Paola Navone for Serax. A relaxed and playful collection, ideal for the aperitif or dinner, tasting, finger food, all in the shape of this legendary fish which is ever so good for our health.
The Italian designer Paola Navone, who draws inspiration with gourmet gusto from the culture and daily life of the many countries she has visited, is this time inspired by products made in the United States during the Great Depression in the 1930s.
Over the past four decades, Italian architect and designer Paola Navone has undeniably earned her plaudits in the world of design and decoration, with quite a few awards to show for it. Straightforward, a dreamer and eclectic: Paola Navone’s mind and soul are a combination of flavours and colours of the South together with the taste and forms of the West, rich in traditions, open, and continuously in movement.
This free-spirited approach is reflected in her Fish & Fish Glassware collection for Serax, a playful interpretation of everyday design inspired by vintage glassware from the 1930s.
