Train of Thought joins English artist Jon Harvey's second collection for Paper Collective. This collection delves deeper into Harvey's play between light and shadow.
Train of Though embraces a more diverse colour palette, with vibrant blue graphic linework punctuating a painted backdrop in soft neautral tones.
British artist Jon Harvey worked as a creative director in the advertising industry before going on to establish his own design practice. Today he continues a lifelong devotion to image making through his original paintings. From Bauhaus to Modernism and Pop Art, Jon's influences are rooted in art movements of the 20th century -his formative years being shaped by the bold visual language and graphic aesthetic of magazines like The Face and artists such as Haring and Hockney. His work embraces the principles of abstraction and non-objective art, creating emotive, dynamic compositions -thought forms often inspired by the beauty and imperfection of our interior landscape.
Based in Copenhagen, Paper Collective brings together designers, artists and illustrators to create limited editions of iconic and inspirational prints, becoming a leading brand in the execution of artistic prints.
With sustainability as one of its commitments, it uses only high quality materials with the FSC (Forest Management Council) mark and Nordic Swan certification, the official sustainability eco-label of the Nordic countries.
