This blue-green Look At Me vase by Bela Silva for Serax is defined by a glossy surface and sculptural shape and geometric relief.
Use it with or without flowers as a sculptural decorative object. Silva's collection grew from the energy and resilience she sees in plants, with repeated relief and bright glaze giving the pieces their expressive presence.
Although born and raised in Lisbon, we may well attribute the predicate 'world citizen' to the Portuguese artist Bela Silva. She studied in Portugal, the UK and the US and she explored all possible arts disciplines. Her work has shared the spotlight in exhibitions with that of Andy Warhol, and her tile art is popular from Brazil to Spain, across China and back to Portugal. Nowadays she commutes between Brussels and Lisbon, mainly focussing on her first love, ceramics.
Serax is more than a brand; it's a true global institution rooted in Belgium.
